Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

temp-cli

A command line interface for Temp, an ephemeral file sharing platform. Upload files, manage links, and track access directly from your terminal.

Installation

npm install -g temp-cli

Authentication

# Login — opens your browser to authenticate
temp login

# Logout
temp logout

Files

# Upload a file
temp files cp ./document.pdf --name "My Document" --description "Q1 report for the team"

# List all your files
temp files ls

# Delete a file permanently
temp files rm <fileId>

Upload options

You will be prompted to select a lifetime interactively:

Links

# Create a link for a file

# Revoke a link permanently

Link options

You will also be prompted to optionally set a password for the link:
