Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Florist website template for a flower shop that delivers

A page for a flower shop selling cut stems, weekly subscriptions and event work. It opens with this week's stems and their prices, moves through past arrangements, an evening delivery run, three standing orders, events, local growers with their distances, evening workshops, a flower care column and questions, and ends with an order form. The palette is blush and chocolate with hot pink script lines; a dark dome climbs over the first screen at dusk, and the event pictures shuffle out of a heap onto a pinboard. Everything is in one index.html, the scroll effects coming from GSAP, ScrollTrigger and Lenis on a CDN. A design by 8B, an AI website builder.

Getting a copy

npm pack @8bsite/florist-website-template
tar -xzf 8bsite-florist-website-template-1.0.0.tgz

That leaves the files in package/. Alternatively, npx degit 8bsite/florist-website-template flower-shop clones the GitHub repository without history. An npm install puts it into node_modules/@8bsite/florist-website-template/; move it out before making changes.

Working with Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Before any edit, the agent should read AGENTS.md, which says which classes and length values keep the animations right. Tell it what you sell and at what price, your delivery days and area, subscription tiers, workshop dates and shop hours. Growers, clients, stem prices and contacts on the demo are fiction; the agent needs your real ones and should never make them up. The order form only shows a confirmation on the page until it is wired to a form service.

Use AGENTS.md and rebuild this for our flower studio. I will send our weekly stems, delivery zones and subscription prices; ask about anything missing.
