Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Print studio website template in two inks

For a risograph studio, small print shop or independent press. After the opening comes a chart of the colours two inks make together, a sheet going through the press, the studio itself, eight editions for sale, five dated workshops, a working quote calculator that prices a run by format, copies, inks, paper and sides, a log of recent jobs, questions and a contact form. Ultramarine and fluorescent pink bands alternate with paper white; halftone dots and registration marks are CSS, not images. One index.html, everything inline; the GSAP, ScrollTrigger and Lenis scripts come off a CDN. A free template by 8B, an AI website builder.

Getting a copy

Look in package/ afterwards. Or skip npm: npx degit 8bsite/print-studio-website-template my-press. If it was installed into a project, the files are under node_modules/@8bsite/print-studio-website-template/; copy them into your own folder before changing a line.

Let an agent adapt it

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex should read AGENTS.md before touching the page. Tell it your per-copy rates and currency, papers, run sizes, turnaround, editions, workshop dates, address and opening days; calculator rates live in data attributes on the form. Every edition, client, workshop and contact detail in the demo is fictional, so the agent has to ask you for them, not invent believable substitutes. The contact form validates and thanks the sender without sending anything: wire it to a form service, and swap the email links on the order and booking buttons.

Start with AGENTS.md. Set our A4 and A3 rates in euros, replace the editions with our six zines, and keep only the two workshops I list.
