Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

outpost

CLI for managing local Git repository workspaces. Bootstrap multiple repos into a single ticket workspace with branches, worktrees, and mirror fetching.

Install

npm install -g @abijith-suresh/outpost

Quick start

outpost init                          # create ~/.outpost
outpost repo add ./my-project         # import a repo
outpost create --ticket PROJ-123 --type feat --repo <id>
outpost workspace list                # see your workspaces
outpost workspace remove PROJ-123     # clean up when done

Environment

OUTPOST_HOME — override the default data directory (default: ~/.outpost).

JSON output

Most commands support --json for machine-readable output:

outpost repo list --json
outpost workspace show TICKET-123 --json

Development

npm install
npm run verify    # format, lint, typecheck, test
npm run build

Release

Pre-v1. Uses changesets. Merging to main creates a version packages PR. Merging that PR publishes to npm via trusted publishing.
