Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@adhd/agent-store-runtime

v2.2.0

Published

Runtime state stores for sessions, tasks, and usage tracking — extracted from agent-mcp

Readme

@adhd/agent-store-runtime

Persistent state store for @adhd/agent-mcp. Manages SQLite schema, migrations, and runtime access to agents, sessions, messages, task events, and usage tracking.

Status: Core store (shipped v0.0.1)
Package: npm install @adhd/agent-store-runtime
Consumers: @adhd/agent-mcp, @adhd/agent-engine-orchestrator

What it does

  • SQLite persistence — agents, sessions, messages, task_events, task_usage tables with proper indexing
  • Migrations — drizzle-kit migrations (0000–0009) applied on server startup; tracks schema evolution
  • Query API — type-safe Drizzle ORM wrappers for all read/write operations
  • Transaction support — atomic multi-table operations for consistency
  • Usage tracking — accumulates token counts, cost, and execution traces per task
  • Cascade cleanup — sessions→agents FK cascade (restored in 2.0.2) via migration 0009

Usage

This is an internal package consumed by @adhd/agent-mcp. Direct use is rare.

For store access (rare):

import { AgentStore } from '@adhd/agent-store-runtime';

const store = new AgentStore({
  databasePath: '~/.adhd/agent-mcp/agent-mcp.db',
});

const agents = await store.listAgents();
const task = await store.getTask(taskId);

Database schema

  • agents — registered agent configs
  • sessions — conversation instances
  • messages — chat history (role, content, tool_calls, tool_results)
  • task_events — MODEL_REQUEST, TOOL_CALL, TASK_COMPLETED events
  • task_usage — token counts, cost estimates, execution stats

Key files

  • src/db/schema.ts — Drizzle ORM schema
  • drizzle/ — migrations (0000–0009)
  • src/database.ts — AgentStore class and query API

2.0.2 changes

  • Migration 0008 — adds peakContextTokens, peakContextAt columns
  • Migration 0009 — restores sessions.agent_name → agents.name ON DELETE CASCADE FK

Architecture

  • Part of the 6-package agent framework family
  • Depends on: drizzle-orm, better-sqlite3
  • Depended on by: @adhd/agent-mcp, @adhd/agent-engine-orchestrator

See /entrypoint/agent-mcp/docs/architecture-and-security.md for the full agent runtime architecture.
