OpenTelemetry Setup
To receive real-time metrics from Claude Code, configure telemetry export. Choose one approach:
Option 1: Shell Environment
Add to ~/.zshrc or ~/.bashrc:
export CLAUDE_CODE_ENABLE_TELEMETRY=1
export OTEL_METRICS_EXPORTER=otlp
export OTEL_LOGS_EXPORTER=otlp
export OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_PROTOCOL=http/json
export OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_ENDPOINT=http://localhost:4318Option 2: Claude Code Settings
Add to ~/.claude/settings.json:
{
"env": {
"CLAUDE_CODE_ENABLE_TELEMETRY": "1",
"OTEL_METRICS_EXPORTER": "otlp",
"OTEL_LOGS_EXPORTER": "otlp",
"OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_PROTOCOL": "http/json",
"OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_ENDPOINT": "http://localhost:4318"
}
}After configuring, ensure Daedux is running and the OTEL receiver is enabled in Settings.
