Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Command-line access to the Agentix MCP server, API, and agents (tools, stdio bridge, chat REPL)

@agentix-ai/cli

Command-line access to the Agentix MCP server, REST API, and agents.

npm install -g @agentix-ai/cli
agentix --help

The CLI is a thin client: your API key stays local, and every call proxies to the deployed Agentix MCP worker (https://agentix-mcp.webadmin-503.workers.dev/mcp by default). Billing and feature gating work exactly as in the app — calls draw from the wallet tied to your agx_... key.

Setup

agentix login

This opens your browser to app.agentixsuite.com/cli/auth — approve the request and the CLI receives an API key automatically (saved to ~/.agentix/config.json, with permissions restricted to your user account). Keys created this way appear in Settings → Integrations → External API and can be revoked there anytime.

Prefer to paste a key manually? Get one at Settings → API Keys, then:

agentix login --no-browser # or: agentix login --key agx_...

Or skip login entirely with env vars:

| Variable | Purpose | | --- | --- | | AGENTIX_API_KEY | Agentix API key (agx_...). For admin umbrella keys, also run agentix use <workspace> — CLI ≥ 0.2.2 always sends X-Client-Id from the active workspace even when this env is set. | | AGENTIX_MCP_URL | Override MCP endpoint (default: production worker) | | AGENTIX_APP_URL | Override web app URL used for browser login | | AGENTIX_NO_OPEN | Set to 1 to print the auth URL instead of opening a browser | | OPENAI_API_KEY | LLM key for agentix chat (or AGENTIX_LLM_API_KEY) | | AGENTIX_LLM_BASE_URL | OpenAI-compatible base URL (default https://api.openai.com/v1) | | AGENTIX_LLM_MODEL | Chat model (default gpt-4.1-mini) |

Commands

agentix tools [search]

List or search MCP tools available to your key.

agentix tools ad_spy

agentix call <tool> [--json '{...}']

Invoke a tool directly. Omit --json for tools that take no arguments; pass - to read JSON args from stdin (handy for large payloads).

agentix call agentix.projects.list
agentix call agentix.central_brain.query --json '{"query":"top campaigns"}'
echo '{"query":"pricing"}' | agentix call agentix.central_brain.query --json -

agentix chat

Interactive chat where a model picks and runs Agentix tools for you.

agentix chat # OpenAI default model
agentix chat --model gpt-4.1 # pick a model
agentix chat --llm-url https://openrouter.ai/api/v1 --llm-key sk-or-...

agentix mcp

Runs a local stdio MCP bridge to the remote server, so any MCP host (Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.) can use all Agentix tools without extra tooling. Add to your MCP client config:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "agentix": {
      "command": "agentix",
      "args": ["mcp"],
      "env": { "AGENTIX_API_KEY": "agx_..." }
    }
  }
}

Development

cd packages/cli
npm run build        # bundle src/index.ts -> dist/index.js (esbuild)
npm run typecheck
node dist/index.js --help

Publishing is done from this private repo — npm does not require a public GitHub repo:

cd packages/cli && npm publish
