Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Workflow orchestration capability plugin for Agent Forge (stage DAG state machine over session entries)

Readme

@agent-forge/plugin-workflow

Workflow orchestration capability plugin for Agent Forge (design contract: docs/design/工作流编排插件设计.md). It registers workflow_set and workflow_advance: a fourth self-contained state machine on top of the goal/plan/todo layers that orchestrates a stage dependency graph (DAG) — dependency unlocking, parallel activation guarded by write-scope checks, in-place retry and cross-stage retreat with DAG-propagated resets, and a per-transition audit stream. Workflows are an upgrade shape for genuinely multi-stage parallel work, not the default: the goal/plan/todo layers keep serving linear small tasks.

State persists as append-only workflow.state session entries; every conversion (including held or rejected activation attempts) appends one workflow.transition audit entry with a closed-catalog reason code, and each persisted change is announced as a workflow.changed event. This plugin is the repository's first event subscriber: plan.changed is used as a trigger signal only — all truth is re-derived from the current branch entries, and the handler is fully isolated so it never rethrows at the publisher. Other domains are only read through the shared session entry protocol (soft references: goalId, stages[].planId, stages[].role).

Install

# from a local checkout
agent-forge plugin install ./plugins/workflow

# from npm
agent-forge plugin install @ai-agent-forge/plugin-workflow

The plugin requires the session, events, and tools host capabilities — the same public surface as the goal/plan plugins — and also exposes the /workflow text command (panorama, why, log) through the public registerCommand face so any host shape can inspect "why is it stopped here" without a TUI.
