Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

pi-exit

A minimal pi extension that registers /exit as a first-class slash command (alias for the built-in /quit).

Features

  • Adds /exit command that cleanly shuts down pi
  • No conflicts with built-in commands
  • Works exactly like /quit

Installation

Quick test

pi -e ~/Developer/ai-ecoverse/pi-exit

Permanent install (recommended)

Option 1: Symlink (easiest)

mkdir -p ~/.pi/agent/extensions
ln -s ~/Developer/ai-ecoverse/pi-exit ~/.pi/agent/extensions/pi-exit

Option 2: Copy

cp -r ~/Developer/ai-ecoverse/pi-exit ~/.pi/agent/extensions/

Then restart pi or run /reload.

Usage

Just type:

/exit

It will exit pi the same way /quit does.

Development

The extension source is a single file:

  • index.ts — registers the /exit command using pi.registerCommand()
