Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

1. Overview

Traditional Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) dumps thousands of unverified, noisy tokens into LLM prompts. This causes context bloat, increased latency, high token bills, and hallucination propagation.

ProofGraph replaces fuzzy text dumping with structured, evidence-backed proof:

What ProofGraph Is:

  • Evidence-First: Grounded in cryptographic SHA-256 content hashes, timestamped provenance, and source trust tiers.
  • Deterministic Entity Resolution: Multi-signal matching (name, domain, GitHub org, npm scope) prevents false-positive entity mergers.
  • Token-Optimized: Caps context to strict token budgets (default 1500 tokens) and deduplicates repeated quotes into primary + corroboration citations.
  • Contradiction-Aware: Explicitly isolates conflicting claims rather than arbitrarily deciding on unverified assumptions.
  • Zero-Spam & Safe: Built-in SSRF protection, robots.txt adherence, and strict neutral scoring across all organizations.
