Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Vue composables and UI primitives for Masterbrain-assisted workspace editing

Readme

@airalogy/masterbrain-vue

Vue state and presentation primitives for Masterbrain Protocol editing.

  • useCodeEditAssistant owns safe auto-apply, review, conflict detection, and undo state.
  • MasterbrainChangeReview and MasterbrainChangeStatus provide host-neutral UI.
  • Built-in en-US and zh-CN messages keep shared UI localized without copying labels into every host.
  • @airalogy/masterbrain-vue/monaco exports an optional Monaco Diff viewer. Install and configure monaco-editor in the host only when that view is used.

Platform remains responsible for authentication, billing, audit, routing, its product-specific messages and modal shells, and adapting its editor store to the shared WorkspaceAdapter contract. Masterbrain owns localization for the UI it ships.

Visual tokens use --masterbrain-* CSS custom properties with accessible defaults, so product themes do not require forking the components. MasterbrainChangeReview also exposes header, summary, warnings, file-header, diff, and footer slots; product hosts can keep their own modal and design system without duplicating change-set behavior.

Import the default component styles once in the host entry point:

import '@airalogy/masterbrain-vue/style.css';
import { useCodeEditAssistant } from '@airalogy/masterbrain-vue';

const assistant = useCodeEditAssistant({
  client,
  workspace,
  // Safe edits auto-apply by default. Set false for a strict-review host.
  autoApply: true,
});

const result = await assistant.submit(request);

Configure localization once for an application. Locale refs are reactive, common variants such as zh_CN are normalized, and unsupported locales fall back to English:

import { createApp, ref } from 'vue';
import { createMasterbrainI18n } from '@airalogy/masterbrain-vue';

const locale = ref('zh-CN');
createApp(App)
  .use(createMasterbrainI18n({ locale }))
  .mount('#app');

For a subtree, use the provider instead:

<script setup lang="ts">
import { MasterbrainI18nProvider } from '@airalogy/masterbrain-vue';
</script>

<template>
  <MasterbrainI18nProvider :locale="currentLocale">
    <MasterbrainChangeReview :result="result" />
  </MasterbrainI18nProvider>
</template>

Both the provider and individual components accept a locale-keyed messages catalog for product-specific wording. Existing *Label props remain supported as the highest-priority one-off override.

Import Monaco only in hosts that render a visual diff:

import { MasterbrainMonacoDiff } from '@airalogy/masterbrain-vue/monaco';
