Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Build Tools

ESBuild

ESBuild provides an exceptionally fast TypeScript build with simple plugin hooks. We use it to run Babel transpilation, replace path aliases, and emit type declarations after file changes are detected.

Babel

Babel is a transpiler for JS or TS that produces highly compatible applications or libraries. Compatibility targets are defined in the package.json browserslist property — use browsersl.ist to generate the expression.

BrowserStack

We use BrowserStack to run integration and unit tests on real browsers and devices. See the BrowserStack runner for the runner contract and a usage example.

Express

Express is the HTTP server used for the local test server (SSL, proxies, REST APIs).
