Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

v0.1.1

Published

A collection of UI components for Svelte web applications

Readme

UI (Svelte)

A design system for Anephenix — Svelte components.

Node.js CI

Not yet published to npm. This package is complete (all 38 components — see Components below) but hasn't had its first release yet. In the meantime, clone the monorepo, run npm i && npm run build-svelte, and depend on it via a local path or npm link from packages/svelte.

Installation

npm i @anephenix/ui-svelte --save

Dependencies

  • Node.js (24+)
  • Svelte (5+)

Usage

Import the components and the stylesheet in your project:

<script>
	import { Button, Input, NavBar } from '@anephenix/ui-svelte';
</script>
import '@anephenix/ui-svelte/dist/index.css';

The stylesheet must be imported once at the root of your app.

Components

37 of 38 accessible, themeable Svelte components grouped by category — forms, layout, display, overlays, and navigation. The one exception is Code (syntax-highlighted code blocks), which depends on a React-only highlighting library and hasn't been ported yet.

Full API reference: COMPONENTS.md

If you're coming from @anephenix/ui (the React version), see PORTING-CONTRACT.md in the monorepo root for the API differences between the two — prop names like className/onClick become class/onclick, children becomes a Snippet, and so on.

Design System

The library ships a set of CSS custom properties for colours, spacing, typography, and grid that all components consume — the same tokens as the React package, since both are built from the same packages/tokens source. Override any token in your own stylesheet to theme the system without touching component code.

| Token group | Variables | Docs | |-------------|-----------|------| | Colours | --primary-colour, --blue-one-colour, … | Colours | | Spacing | --spacer-one … --spacer-five | Grid | | Typography | --font-size-base, --font-weight-bold, … | Typography | | Layout | .page, .container, .withSidePadding | Layout |

Tests

npm t

This package is part of the anephenix/ui monorepo. The docs site includes a live React/Svelte preview toggle on every component page — see the repo root README.
