Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@ank1015/agents-provider-openai-azure-spec

v0.1.1

Published

Azure OpenAI provider static spec (model catalog, config + per-call option types) for @ank1015/agents.

Readme

@ank1015/agents-provider-openai-azure-spec

Static Azure OpenAI provider metadata for @ank1015/agents.

This package contains the provider id, config schema, provider option/native message types, model catalog, and TypeScript module augmentation. It does not create an Azure OpenAI client or make network calls.

Install

pnpm add @ank1015/agents-provider-openai-azure-spec

Exports

  • @ank1015/agents-provider-openai-azure-spec
  • @ank1015/agents-provider-openai-azure-spec/config
  • @ank1015/agents-provider-openai-azure-spec/models

Config

import {
  OPENAI_AZURE_PROVIDER,
  openAIAzureProviderConfigSchema,
} from '@ank1015/agents-provider-openai-azure-spec';

const config = openAIAzureProviderConfigSchema.parse({
  provider: OPENAI_AZURE_PROVIDER,
  apiKey: { type: 'env', name: 'AZURE_OPENAI_API_KEY' },
  endpoint: 'https://example.openai.azure.com',
});

Callers that already have a key from another secret source can pass it directly:

const config = openAIAzureProviderConfigSchema.parse({
  provider: OPENAI_AZURE_PROVIDER,
  apiKey: { type: 'value', value: azureOpenAIKey },
  endpoint: 'https://example.openai.azure.com',
});

Use either endpoint or baseUrl, never both.

  • Without apiVersion, the runtime provider uses Azure OpenAI v1/OpenAI-compatible URLs.
  • With apiVersion, the runtime provider uses the legacy AzureOpenAI SDK client.

Models

import {
  OPENAI_AZURE_MODELS,
  getOpenAIAzureModel,
} from '@ank1015/agents-provider-openai-azure-spec';

const model = getOpenAIAzureModel('gpt-5.6-terra');

The static catalog currently includes:

  • gpt-5.6-sol
  • gpt-5.6-terra
  • gpt-5.6-luna
  • gpt-5.5
  • gpt-5.4-mini
  • gpt-5.4-nano

GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, Luna, and GPT-5.5 include long-context tiers: prompts over 272K input tokens use 2x input/cache rates and 1.5x output rates for the full request. GPT-5.4 mini and nano remain flat-priced. Catalog prices represent Global token rates; Azure deployment type and data zone can change the billed rate.

Azure deployment names are expected to match these static model ids.
