Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Shared npm package for STR projects.

This library contains reusable Bybit providers, shared TypeScript types, and utility helpers used by str and str-worker.

Install

npm install @anrmk/str-package

Usage

Use In A Project

  1. Install dependency:
npm install @anrmk/str-package
  1. Import from package subpaths in your app code:
import { applyDemoMoney } from "@anrmk/str-package/providers/bybit";
import type { IBybitApiResponse } from "@anrmk/str-package/types/bybit";

Development

npm install
npm run build

Publish Updates (Push)

When you change the package code and want consumers to receive updates, you need to ensure that the new code is compatible with the existing system.

Bump package version:

npm version patch
  1. Make sure your account is valid and you have an access

Fix npm cache ownership (one time)

sudo chown -R 501:20 /Users/anrmk/.npm

Re-authenticate as your npm account

npm logout
npm login
npm whoami

Use minor or major when needed.

  1. Build and publish:
npm run build
npm publish --access public
  1. Push git commit and tags:
git push origin main --tags

Note: npm does not allow publishing the same version twice.

Get Updates In Consumers (Pull)

In str or str-worker, fetch latest package version:

npm install @anrmk/str-package@latest

or

npm update @anrmk/str-package

Verify installed version:

npm list @anrmk/str-package

Recommended Release Flow

  1. Update code in this repo.
  2. Run tests/build.
  3. Bump version.
  4. Publish to npm.
  5. Update package in consumer repos.
  6. Validate and deploy.
