Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

OpenAI Responses provider plugin for Antseed via Codex backend auth

Readme

@antseed/provider-openai-responses

Provide OpenAI Responses API capacity on the AntSeed P2P network using Codex auth from ~/.codex/auth.json.

Important: Subscription-backed providers are for testing and development only. Reselling subscription credentials or raw access may violate upstream terms of service. AntSeed providers are expected to add value through agents, skills, privacy guarantees, TEEs, or managed products.

Installation

antseed plugin add @antseed/provider-openai-responses

Usage

antseed seed --provider openai-responses

Configuration

| Key | Type | Required | Default | Description | |-----|------|----------|---------|-------------| | OPENAI_RESPONSES_AUTH_FILE | string | No | ~/.codex/auth.json | Path to Codex auth file | | OPENAI_RESPONSES_BASE_URL | string | No | https://chatgpt.com/backend-api | Codex backend base URL | | ANTSEED_INPUT_USD_PER_MILLION | number | No | 10 | Input token price (USD per 1M) | | ANTSEED_OUTPUT_USD_PER_MILLION | number | No | 10 | Output token price (USD per 1M) | | ANTSEED_SERVICE_PRICING_JSON | string | No | -- | Per-service pricing as JSON | | ANTSEED_MAX_CONCURRENCY | number | No | 5 | Max concurrent requests | | ANTSEED_ALLOWED_SERVICES | string[] | No | -- | Comma-separated service allowlist | | ANTSEED_SERVICE_ALIAS_MAP_JSON | string | No | -- | Optional JSON map of announcedService -> upstreamService |

How It Works

The provider reads Codex credentials from the auth file, derives chatgpt-account-id from JWT claims, and forwards OpenAI Responses requests to https://chatgpt.com/backend-api/codex/responses.

If the access token is expired or close to expiry, the provider refreshes it automatically against https://auth.openai.com/oauth/token using the stored refresh token, then writes the updated credentials back to the auth file. It also forces a refresh and retries once if the upstream returns 401.

Transient upstream failures (429, 500, 502, 503, 504) are retried with exponential backoff.
