Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@anyformat/skill

Distributes the anyformat Claude skill as an npm package. Running it copies the bundled skill/ into the user's Claude skills directory so any Claude Code session can build and run anyformat extraction workflows.

Install the skill (end users)

npx @anyformat/skill            # installs to ~/.claude/skills/anyformat (all projects)
npx @anyformat/skill --project  # installs to ./.claude/skills/anyformat (this project only)

Restart Claude Code to pick it up.

Publish a new version (maintainers)

Cut on demand — a maintainer bumps the version in a PR that touches this directory, then pushes a skill-vX.Y.Z tag on the release commit. The publish workflow verifies the tag matches package.json, publishes to npm via OIDC trusted publishing, and creates a GitHub Release. Full flow + one-time setup: ../RELEASING.md.

Break-glass (local, non-CI publish):

./publish.sh              # smart-bump + publish (needs NPM_TOKEN in env or .env)
./publish.sh minor        # or patch / major
./publish.sh --build-only # validate SKILL.md + stage the version
./publish.sh --dry-run    # bun publish --dry-run
