Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Local encrypted vault + web panel + MCP server for AI agent workflows.

What zocket provides

  • encrypted secret vault across projects/sessions
  • local web panel (127.0.0.1:18001)
  • MCP server:
    • stdio
    • SSE (127.0.0.1:18002/sse) for Claude Code
    • streamable HTTP (127.0.0.1:18003/mcp) for Codex
  • EN/RU UI and CLI
  • first-run web setup:
    • set your own password
    • generate strong password
    • continue without password (with explicit warning)
  • project-to-folder mapping with folder picker
  • audit log, backup/restore, key rotation
  • Linux hardened system services (zocketd)

Install (instant)

npm i -g @ao_zorin/zocket
zocket init

or global from git:

Quick start

zocket init
zocket start --host 127.0.0.1 --web-port 18001 --mcp-port 18002 --mcp-stream-port 18003 --mode admin

Open http://127.0.0.1:18001.

MCP-only (no web panel):
