Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@apiel/json-schema-decorator

Minimal library to merge JSON schema properties decorator into a JSON schema object.

JSON schema output:

To define a property schema, use the decorator @schema({}). The type of the property is inferred automatically and can still be overwritten if type is defined as parameter, e.g.: @schema({type: 'number'}). By default, properties are optional, to make them required, set the parameter optional to false, e.g.: @schema({optional: false}).

Generate the json schema by calling generateJsonSchema(the_target_object)

Validation

Validation is not include in this library, as the goal is simply to generate JSON schema. It's up to you to use the library of your choice for validation.

In our example, we will use AJV:
