Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

SDK for Solvent: solvency-aware market making on 1inch Aqua. Query every Aqua maker's live balance sheet on four chains, build SwapVM programs that price their own solvency risk, and read the settlement score.

Install

npm i @aqua-solvent/core

Read any maker's balance sheet (no keys, no config)

import { createSolvent, SolventChain } from "@aqua-solvent/core";

const solvent = createSolvent({ chain: SolventChain.Base });

const books = await solvent.books.top(10);
for (const b of books) {
  console.log(b.maker, b.token, `${b.utilisationBps / 100}% utilised`,
    `promised ${b.committed} backed ${b.backing}`);
}

Base, Arbitrum, and Optimism watch the official 1inch Aqua deployment and are read-only today: the index is live, the contracts are coming. Base Sepolia is full mode: contracts, quoting, and the index.

| Chain | Mode | What works | | --- | --- | --- | | SolventChain.BaseSepolia | full | books, contracts, strategy builder, quoting | | SolventChain.Base | read-only | books, index health | | SolventChain.Arbitrum | read-only | books, index health | | SolventChain.Optimism | read-only | books, index health |

Anything needing contracts on a read-only chain throws ReadOnlyChainError.

Build a self-defending strategy (full-mode chains)

const sepolia = createSolvent({ chain: SolventChain.BaseSepolia });

const program = sepolia.strategy()
  .solvencyFloor(9_500) // refuse to quote above 95% utilisation
  .solvencySkew(5_000, 400_000) // widen up to 4% as the wallet thins past 50%
  .xyc()                         // constant-product pricing
  .fee(30_000)                   // 0.30% base fee
  .encode(); // SwapVM bytecode, ready to ship() on Aqua

The oracle addresses are filled in per chain; sepolia.contracts has the full deployment (router, SolventBook, score, all verified on Basescan).

Query The Graph Network with your own key

All four indexes are published on The Graph's decentralized network. Pass a gateway API key (free from Subgraph Studio) and reads go there instead of the rate-limited Studio endpoint, falling back to Studio if the gateway errors:

const solvent = createSolvent({ chain: SolventChain.Base, graphApiKey: process.env.GRAPH_API_KEY });

gatewayUrl(chain, apiKey) returns the raw query URL, and each chain's network ID is on SOLVENT_CHAINS[chain].networkSubgraphId.

Overrides

createSolvent({
  chain: SolventChain.Base,
  rpcUrl: "https://your-endpoint", // default: public RPC
  subgraphUrl: "https://your-endpoint", // replaces both the gateway and Studio
});

Utilities

computeUtilisationBps, computeScore, and the raw instruction encoders are exported directly, bit-exact against the Solidity contracts (1009-case differential suite in the main repo).
