Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Arden CLI

Your AI agents can now pay for things.

Arden gives each agent its own wallet and a budget. The agent spends autonomously (calling APIs, buying data, paying for compute) and you stay in control with monthly limits, per-transaction caps, and vendor allowlists. Pause or adjust any agent at any time.

Installation

npm install -g @ardensh/cli

Getting started

arden login
arden provision

Login opens a browser to authenticate. Provision walks you through creating an agent — you choose test or live mode, set budgets, and restrict vendors. You get back an ARDEN_AGENT_KEY (shown once, store it securely). Add it to your agent's environment and it can start paying.

Create a new agent with a wallet and spend controls.

Interactive prompts for mode, name, budget limits, and allowed vendors.

Test mode creates a wallet on Base Sepolia (testnet) using fake USDC — safe for development. Live mode creates a wallet on Base mainnet using real USDC — coming soon.

Outputs an ARDEN_AGENT_KEY (shown once, store it securely). Add it to your agent's environment to enable payments.

List all your agents with mode, network, and budget usage.

Show detailed spend, budget breakdown, and network for an agent.

Show the wallet address and funding instructions for an agent.

Test agents are funded with USDC on Base Sepolia. Get test USDC from faucet.circle.com and test ETH from faucet.quicknode.com/base/sepolia.

Live agents are funded with USDC on Base mainnet.

arden whoami

Show the currently logged-in account.

arden logout

Log out and clear local credentials.
