Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

🪳 Roach - Route Origin Authorization Checker

TypeScript React

A modern CLI tool with an interactive terminal interface for exploring RPKI, IRR, and BGP data. Built with TypeScript, React (Ink), and powered by the IRRExplorer API.

🚀 Quick Start

Installation

npm install -g @arexico/roach

Interactive Mode

# Start the interactive terminal interface
roach

Supported input formats:

  • ASN: AS13335, 199036
  • IPv4: 1.1.1.1, 1.1.1.0/24
  • IPv6: 2001:db8::1, 2001:db8::/32

Navigation:

  • Use arrow keys to browse results
  • Press q or Esc to return to input

Batch Processing

roach batch input.txt output.csv
