Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Native DeepSeek Harness host for the AstraWorks work engine

Readme

AstraWorks for DeepSeek Harness

This package is the native DeepSeek Harness host for AstraWorks. Install the bundle once per dsh profile:

dsh plugin --profile web add @astraworks/dsh-astraworks
dsh --profile web --no-open

Open an initialized AstraWorks project in dsh. Each Session shows Chat, Trajectory, and 看板 as peer views. 看板 is scoped to that Session's project and opens its business boards and installed Agent Workbenches. The global dsh sidebar also shows 工作台; it opens the complete multi-project Work Engine, including Engine Overview, Loops, digital employees, Capabilities, Experience, and Connections. AI Chat inside either AstraWorks surface sends its prompt to the current dsh Session instead of starting another Agent process.

The plugin also provides enabled project Agents as cwd-scoped agent-<id> Skills, bundled AstraWorks platform Skills, a read-only model tool named astraworks_agent_center, a project-scoped astraworks_work_items tool for Todo and Finding records, and the human command /astraworks.

/astraworks status
/astraworks agents
/astraworks show <agent-id>
/astraworks install <agent.zip>
/astraworks enable <agent-id>
/astraworks disable <agent-id>
/astraworks uninstall <agent-id>

The Work Engine Agent Center loads its digital employee list from configured AstraWorks Agent Catalogs. Installation accepts an existing registered project or a new absolute directory; the directory picker can create the destination, and a new directory is initialized and registered before the package is installed. After a successful embedded installation, the plugin creates or opens the matching DSH workspace session so the directory appears immediately. Installed packages materialize bound Skills into every enabled project Agent Skill directory, generate an agent-<id> Skill, and install Knowledge, Loops, MCP definitions, Hooks, Harness profiles, Orchestrations, and Workbenches into the AstraWorks runtime. DSH also initializes a workspace automatically the first time the plugin opens AstraWorks there.

The plugin embeds the AstraWorks runtime in the dsh process. It does not start an AstraWorks Daemon or invoke the AstraWorks CLI as a child process. The standalone @astraworks/cli and Dashboard use the same application layer and project data, so a project can move between standalone and dsh-hosted operation without conversion.

Agent Center's 定义员工 opens a development workspace dialog. Choose an empty directory (hidden files count), enter an Agent ID and name, and initialize it. AstraWorks first installs the project Engine and the agent-builder Skill, then creates the AgentPort source layout and a draft Agent with workflow, policies, tests, and evaluation files. After both steps succeed, the plugin creates or opens a DSH session for that directory so it appears in the sidebar. A failed DSH handoff can be retried without initializing the directory again. Start a conversation there and use agent-builder to complete the employee's responsibilities before validation and activation.
