Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Metrics plugin for @atlaskit/editor-core

Note: This component is designed for internal Atlassian development. External contributors will be able to use this component but will not be able to submit issues.

Overview

The Metrics plugin tracks user activity and engagement metrics within the Atlassian Editor. It monitors content changes, user actions, and active session duration to provide insights into editor usage patterns and performance.

Key features

  • Activity session tracking - Monitor active editing sessions and session duration
  • Action counting - Track and categorize user actions (insertions, deletions, undo operations)
  • Content analysis - Measure content size changes and node modifications
  • Performance metrics - Capture efficiency and effectiveness indicators
  • Transaction integration - Attach metrics payloads directly to ProseMirror transactions
