@authdeep/ctl

One command to run your own AuthDeep bundle. authdeep-ctl is the official self-hosted bundle manager — it renders configuration, brings up every service (Docker or native systemd), manages TLS certificates, and handles backups, all from a single TOML config file. This package installs the real thing via npm, no manual binary download required.

Supported platforms: linux/amd64, linux/arm64 (authdeep-ctl manages a self-hosted Linux server bundle — there is no Windows/macOS build, since that's not where this runs).

Usage

npm install -g @authdeep/ctl
authdeep-ctl status
authdeep-ctl reconfigure
authdeep-ctl health

Or one-off, no global install:

npx @authdeep/ctl status

What this does

postinstall.mjs downloads https://data.authdeep.com/downloads/ctl/<linux-amd64|linux-arm64> (a stable, branded URL that redirects to the public GitLab Generic Package Registry release) into bin/authdeep-ctl-bin, then bin/authdeep-ctl.mjs execs it directly, forwarding all arguments and stdio — a thin, fully auditable wrapper around the real Go binary, not a reimplementation.

No dependencies, no telemetry, no hidden network calls beyond that one download per install.
