Axion MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that gives LLMs access to the Axion financial data API - covering stocks, crypto, forex, futures, indices, ETFs, economics, news, sentiment, filings, financials, and more.

Other MCP Clients

The server uses stdio transport and is compatible with any MCP client. Set the API_KEY environment variable and configure according to your client's documentation.

Troubleshooting

Tools not appearing in your LLM client - Restart the client and verify the config file path is correct and absolute.

API requests failing - Check that API_KEY is set correctly in your environment or config. Review server logs for detailed error messages.

Server won't start - Ensure Node.js v18+ is installed and the package is installed via npm i @axionquant/mcp.
