Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation

npm install @balancy/cli

Add "balancy": "balancy" to your project's package.json scripts. The commands and existing .balancy/user.info cache remain unchanged:

npm run balancy -- config-login -e <email> -p <password> -c .balancy
npm run balancy -- config-list-games -c .balancy
npm run balancy -- config-select-game -c .balancy -g <game-id>
npm run balancy -- config-list-branches -c .balancy
npm run balancy -- config-select-branch -c .balancy -b 0
npm run balancy -- config-generate -c .balancy -p src/auto-generated-code
npm run balancy -- config-download -c .balancy -p src/resources

The CLI uses the full Node.js WASM shipped with @balancy/wasm. Browsers load a separate runtime binary without configuration tools. No CLI setup or command changes are required. Global installation with npm install -g @balancy/cli is also supported; run balancy directly in that case.
