Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@barocss/math-editor-tinymce

Math editing for TinyMCE. Install alongside @barocss/math-editor and the host editor SDK.

This workspace package owns its source and tests. This package ships generated JavaScript, TypeScript declarations, and styles. Its host SDK and @barocss/math-editor remain external peers.

Install

npm install @barocss/math-editor-tinymce @barocss/math-editor \
  tinymce

Install this package, the core, and the host dependencies listed in peerDependencies. Import the adapter from @barocss/math-editor-tinymce, common helpers from @barocss/math-editor-tinymce/shared, and styles from @barocss/math-editor-tinymce/style.css. Also load @barocss/math-editor/style.css.

The documentation and unified editor samples are hosted at math-editor.barocss.com. Host SDK versions are listed in peerDependencies.

Development

Workspace exports, main and types point to src/, so apps import this package without building it first. publishConfig overrides those fields with dist/ paths for npm consumers. The release pipeline validates the packed paths.

This package owns its host implementation in src/tinymce.ts, its tests in test/, and its TypeScript build configuration. From the repository root:

pnpm --filter @barocss/math-editor-tinymce build
pnpm --filter @barocss/math-editor-tinymce type-check
pnpm --filter @barocss/math-editor-tinymce test

The build includes private common helpers and their declarations while keeping the math core and host SDKs external. Add a Changeset for this package when its published behavior changes. Shared-helper changes must name every affected plugin. The local pnpm release:math command publishes only new math package versions.

License

MIT. Copyright (c) 2026 barocss.com. See LICENSE, included in this package. The math-editor core is also MIT licensed. Host editor SDKs retain their own licenses.

The default editing: "inline" opens formulas at their position in the document, including classic iframe hosts. Set editing: "panel" for an external Apply/Cancel panel. Classic hosts must also load the core, adapter and preview styles inside their iframe through content_css; application-page imports alone are insufficient.
