Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

v1.4.0

Published

Battlestack CLI engine — open-source scaffolding tool. Loads extra capabilities from installed battlestack plugins. Install/run via the unscoped `battlestack` wrapper (`npx battlestack`).

Readme

@battlestack/cli

The battlestack CLI engine. Users don't install this package directly — the unscoped battlestack wrapper (published in version lockstep) is the entry point that provides the battlestack/bstack commands and makes npx battlestack resolve.

battlestack is a plugin-based scaffolding CLI for Nuxt 4. Answer a few prompts and it hands you a running app — not a folder of TODOs you still have to wire together.

npx battlestack@latest my-app

That works from a bare Node install. pnpm dlx battlestack@latest my-app and bunx battlestack@latest my-app do the same thing if you already have those on PATH. Requires Node >=24.

--pm <pnpm|npm|bun> sets the package manager for the generated project — independent of whichever one ran the command above. Node 25 dropped bundled Corepack, so a fresh machine commonly has npm and nothing else: if pnpm dlx isn't available yet, npm install -g pnpm, or just add --pm npm and skip pnpm entirely.

Non-interactive (CI, scripts): add --yes.

Templates

| Template | Gets you | | --- | --- | | nuxt4-minimal | Nuxt 4 + UI v4 + Tailwind v4 only. No backend, no auth. | | nuxt4-fullstack | Nuxt + UI + i18n + Postgres + Drizzle + custom auth + Mastra + Docker. | | nuxt4-ai | Full stack + Mastra agents + WebSocket streaming chat via an OpenAI-compatible AI gateway (sluis.ai preset, 50k free tokens) + Docker. RAG opt-in. |

Each also prompts for optional features on top — storage, PWA, CI workflows, passkeys, and more, depending on the template.

This package

battlestack is the CLI entry point. It composes three siblings:

Installing battlestack pulls all three; you don't need to depend on them directly unless you're writing a plugin.
