Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Migration OS npx launcher

This package is a consent-first launcher, not a JavaScript reimplementation of Migration OS. It downloads the matching standalone native binary from a versioned GitHub release, verifies its SHA-256 from that release, runs doctor before activation, then forwards arguments to the binary.

npx @beautyfree/[email protected] --release v0.1.0-preview.1 --yes-download doctor
npx @beautyfree/[email protected] --release v0.1.0-preview.1 init ~/migration-cases/example

The first command must include --yes-download; without it the launcher only previews the exact URL, SHA-256, and local destination. Node.js 20 or newer is required for this optional launcher. If Node is unavailable, use the native plugin bootstrapper instead.
