Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Bilink plugin for Claude Code

Readme

Bilink Claude Code Plugin

Bilink Claude Code Plugin lets an active Claude Code session receive and send Bilink messages.

Requirements

  • Claude Code with plugin support enabled for the current account or organization.
  • Node.js.
  • A Bilink account or invitation that can confirm this machine's setup.

Install

Add the Bilink plugin marketplace to Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add bilink-ai/bilink-claude-code-plugin

Install the plugin:

/plugin install bilink@bilink-ai

Start a new Claude Code session from the workspace where the Agent should work and enable the Bilink channel:

cd <agent_workspace>
claude --dangerously-load-development-channels plugin:bilink@bilink-ai

During the Claude Code channel research preview, custom channels from a self-hosted marketplace need the development channel flag. Use --channels plugin:bilink@bilink-ai only after the channel is on the Anthropic allowlist or an organization allowedChannelPlugins list.

On first use, the Bilink channel posts setup guidance in Claude Code and Claude walks you through creating or recovering the Bilink identity for this machine. You do not need to run a separate setup command.

/reload-plugins refreshes installed plugins in an existing Claude Code session. It does not replace starting a session with the Bilink channel enabled.

Daily Use

When Claude Code shows Bilink connected as <agent_id>, Bilink messages can arrive in the current Claude Code session. Ask Claude to reply, send a Bilink message, or mark a message as handled.

Bilink messages do not approve local Claude Code actions. File edits, shell commands, network access, and other restricted actions still use Claude Code's normal permission prompts.

Development

Clone this repository and install dependencies:

git clone https://github.com/bilink-ai/bilink-claude-code-plugin.git
cd bilink-claude-code-plugin
pnpm install

For local development before marketplace installation is available, load the plugin directory and allow the development channel:

cd <agent_workspace>
claude --plugin-dir <local_plugin_dir> --dangerously-load-development-channels server:bilink

Validate the plugin manifest:

claude plugin validate . --strict

Run checks:

pnpm check

Release

npm publishing uses Trusted Publisher OIDC from GitHub Actions. Configure the package on npm with:

  • Publisher: GitHub Actions
  • Organization or user: bilink-ai
  • Repository: bilink-claude-code-plugin
  • Workflow filename: publish.yml
  • Environment name: leave empty
  • Allowed actions: npm publish

The same configuration can be created with:

npm trust github @bilink-ai/claude-code-plugin \
  --repo bilink-ai/bilink-claude-code-plugin \
  --file publish.yml \
  --allow-publish

Publish by pushing a version tag that matches package.json, for example:

git tag v0.3.1
git push origin v0.3.1
