iOS dependency integration
The iOS BlueConicClient dependency is consumed from Swift Package Manager through the React Native podspec. The package is sourced from blueconic/blueconic-ios-sdk and the BlueConicClient product is resolved from the minimum version declared in nativeDependencies.ios.
This integration requires React Native 0.75 or newer. React Native still uses CocoaPods to integrate the React Native module; this change does not provide a pure Swift Package Manager setup.
Because React Native's SPM integration currently requires dynamic frameworks, the consuming iOS application must enable dynamic framework linkage in its Podfile:
use_frameworks! :linkage => :dynamicDynamic linking may affect application startup time and binary layout. Applications should validate their existing native dependencies when enabling this setting.
The podspec embeds the dynamic BlueConicClient package framework inside BlueConicReactNative.framework during the CocoaPods build, so no separate manual framework-copy step is required. Run pod install after changing the SDK version or React Native version.
