@blugin/next

Official Next.js (App Router) integration for Blugin Blog CMS.

Renders your published blogs using the exact theme selected in your CMS project (Default, Modern, or Magazine) - no manual UI building required.

Status

This package is not yet published to npm. Install it locally as a file dependency (see the Integration page in your CMS dashboard for exact copy-paste steps).

Quick usage

Configuration

Set these server-side only environment variables (never prefix with NEXT_PUBLIC_):

BLOG_API_URL=http://localhost:5001/api/v1/public
BLOG_API_KEY=blg_live_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

BLOG_API_URL has no assumed port - set it to wherever your CMS's public API is actually running, for both development and production.

Add this to your next.config.js so Next compiles this package's JSX:

What this package does NOT do

• It does not expose your API key to the browser.
• It does not require you to understand blog sections/blocks/themes internally.
• It does not replace the raw REST API - that remains available for advanced/custom integrations.
