Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

CLI to install Claude skills for video creation with Remotion.

Installation

No installation required - use directly with npx:

npx @blurtopian/pulse-skills add <skill-name>

Usage

Add skills

Install one or more skills to your project:

# Install a single skill
npx @blurtopian/pulse-skills add pulse-pitch

# Install multiple skills at once
npx @blurtopian/pulse-skills add pulse-pitch pulse-demo-skill

List installed skills

npx @blurtopian/pulse-skills list

Remove skills

npx @blurtopian/pulse-skills remove pulse-pitch

Show available skills

npx @blurtopian/pulse-skills available

Available Skills

What gets installed

When you add a skill, the CLI installs:

  1. Skill files to .claude/skills/<skill-name>/

    • SKILL.md - Skill definition and metadata
    • rules/ - Best practices and patterns
  2. Command files to .claude/commands/

    • Slash commands for guided workflows

Example

# Create a new project
mkdir my-video-project && cd my-video-project
npm init -y

# Add both skills
npx @blurtopian/pulse-skills add pulse-pitch pulse-demo-skill

# Open Claude Code and run the commands
# /pulse:pitchdeck - Create a pitch deck video
# /pulse:demo - Create a demo video
