Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@botwallet/agent-cli

Command-line interface for AI agents to manage their Botwallet accounts.

Installation

npm install -g @botwallet/agent-cli

Quick Start

# Register a new wallet (FROST threshold key generation)
botwallet register --name "My Agent Wallet" --owner [email protected]

# Create an invoice and send it
botwallet paylink create 25.00 --desc "Research report"
botwallet paylink send <request_id> --to [email protected] --message "Here's your invoice"

# Two-step payment flow
botwallet pay @merchant 10.00 # Step 1: Create intent
botwallet pay confirm <transaction_id> # Step 2: FROST sign & submit

register is the recommended way to create a wallet. wallet create does the same thing.

Commands

| Group | Commands | |-------|----------| | wallet | create, info, balance, list, use, deposit, owner, rename, backup, export, import | | pay | (default), confirm, preview, list, cancel | | paylink | create, send, get, list, cancel | | fund | (default), ask, list | | withdraw | (default), confirm, get | | x402 | fetch, fetch confirm, discover | | Utilities | register, history, limits, approvals, approval status, events, lookup, ping, version, docs |

Run botwallet docs for full embedded documentation.

Output Modes

  • JSON (default) — Machine-readable for bots and scripts
  • --human — Formatted output with colors and tips

Authentication

Credentials are saved automatically on register. Or set manually:

export BOTWALLET_API_KEY="bw_bot_your_key_here"

Use --wallet <name> to switch between multiple wallets, or --api-key for explicit auth.

Two-Step Flows

Payments, withdrawals, and x402 API access use a two-step flow:

  1. Create intent — CLI validates, server checks guard rails
  2. Confirm — FROST threshold signing (agent + server cooperate), then submit to Solana

This ensures neither party can sign alone.

Troubleshooting

botwallet: command not found after install?

The npm global bin directory may not be in your PATH. Find and run it directly:

# Find the full path
npm prefix -g
# Then run using the full path (example for Windows):
C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\npm\botwallet.cmd version
# Or on macOS/Linux:
$(npm prefix -g)/bin/botwallet version

To fix permanently, add the npm global bin directory to your system PATH.
