BrowserPilot Bootstrap Package
Legacy BrowserPilot bootstrap package retained for internal packaging checks and migration handling.
Canonical buyer entry: https://browserpilot.seedsource.dev/install.
This README is for packaging, release, and support-assisted workflows. It is not the primary buyer onboarding guide.
Current policy:
- Public npm distribution for BrowserPilot is withdrawn.
- This package is not an approved buyer-facing install surface.
- Install BrowserPilot only from the Chrome Web Store and follow the private install handoff from
/install. - BrowserPilot support delivers the current contained installer path after the buyer starts from
/install.
If you are a buyer, do not use older npm instructions or guessed raw download URLs with this package.
Current buyer flow:
- Open
/installon the BrowserPilot-owned web surface. - Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- Email
[email protected]from the purchase email tied to the order with the Gumroad sale ID and OS. - Follow the support-issued contained installer steps for that machine.
- Finish onboarding in the BrowserPilot extension.
Internal-only note:
- Packaging or audit work that still touches
client/bootstrapmust stay aligned withdocs/client-specific/NPM_BOOTSTRAP.mdand the locked activation authority athttps://browserpilot.seedsource.dev. - When this package is referenced in docs, describe it factually as a bootstrap/package surface and distinguish it from the BrowserPilot-owned buyer install path.
