MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for the CAIK AI artifact registry. Enables Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, and other MCP-capable agents to search, install, and contribute to the collective knowledge base.

Authentication

Some tools require authentication. Set up via the CLI:

npx caik-cli auth login

Or set the environment variable directly:

export CAIK_API_KEY=caik_...

The server reads credentials from ~/.caik/config.json (written by caik auth login) or the CAIK_API_KEY / CAIK_API_URL environment variables.

Admin (hidden by default)

Admin tools are registered disabled and only enabled after verifying the user has an admin role. They do not appear in the tool list for non-admin users.
