Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

First-party structured JavaScript analysis for ESM imports/exports, CommonJS require, dynamic imports, symbols, and module resolution.

Installation and use

Normal CLI users should not install it directly; the CLI loads it automatically for .js, .jsx, .mjs, and .cjs. Custom integrations can instantiate it or reuse its extractor:

const plugin = createJavaScriptPlugin();

Exports are JavaScriptLanguagePlugin, createJavaScriptPlugin, and extractScriptDependencies. Its documented capability level is Structured with file, module, symbol, build, and runtime-dynamic dependency evidence.

Environment, security, and limitations

Requires Node.js 22.13 or newer and never executes analyzed JavaScript. Runtime-computed specifiers, bundler transforms, loader hooks, and environment-dependent exports may remain unresolved; TypeScript syntax is handled by the TypeScript plugin.
