Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Gives the @chaoticgoodcomputing plugin family its own cascade layer, cgc, ranked above Quartz's core styles and themes but below any unlayered site CSS. It emits one line, @layer cgc;, and every family plugin that ships CSS depends on it.

Installation

npm install @chaoticgoodcomputing/quartz-styles

Usage

plugins:
  - source: "@chaoticgoodcomputing/quartz-styles"
    enabled: true

It takes no options. Its default order of 15 ranks the family above a theme at its default order (10).

Writing a plugin that uses it

  1. Put all of the plugin's CSS in one dotted sublayer: @layer cgc.<package> { … }.

  2. Declare the dependency by package name, with an order of 15 or more:

    "quartz": { "dependencies": ["@chaoticgoodcomputing/quartz-styles"] }
