Automatic observability for Claude Code sessions — powered by Flow by CI&T.

flow-ai-obs captures every Claude Code session as a structured trace in Langfuse with zero configuration changes to your workflow.

• Root span per prompt — input, output, token usage, estimated cost
• Child span per tool call — timing, arguments, output, error detection
• Skill context — detects /skill-name invocations and enriches traces with skill metadata
• Offline buffer — traces are persisted locally and replayed automatically when the gateway is back online

Requirements

• Node.js >= 18.0.0
• Claude Code with hooks enabled
• A valid Flow by CI&T account

Quick Start

# 1. Install globally
npm install -g @ciandt-flow/flow-ai-obs

# 2. Run init — guides you through authentication and hook registration
flow-ai-obs init

# 3. Verify
flow-ai-obs status

That's it. Every Claude Code session with Skills or Agents now generates traces automatically.
