Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Cire is a TypeScript static website generator that creates IDE-like interactive documentation from your source code. It transforms code with comments into beautiful documentation with syntax highlighting, hover tooltips, and intelligent navigation.

🚀 Quick Start

Installation

# Clone and install
git clone https://github.com/Eric-Song-Nop/cire.git
cd cire
pnpm install
pnpm build

# Install globally (optional)
pnpm link --global

Basic Usage

# Single file processing
cire -i src/example.ts -o docs/example.html

# Project mode with configuration
cire -c .cire.json5

# Enhanced with SCIP hover documentation
npx @sourcegraph/scip-typescript index
cire -i src/example.ts -s index.scip -o docs/example.html

Configuration

Create .cire.json5 for your project, checkout the example configuration file in the repository.
