@cloud-arch/mcp-server
MCP server for creating interactive architecture diagrams on CloudArch.
Works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and any MCP-compatible client.
Quick Start
1. Get an API key
- Sign in at web.cloud-arch.ru
- Go to Dashboard > API Keys
- Create a key and copy it
2. Configure your MCP client
Add to your MCP config (.mcp.json for Claude Code, or Claude Desktop settings):
{
"mcpServers": {
"cloudarch": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@cloud-arch/mcp-server"],
"env": {
"CLOUDARCH_API_KEY": "ca_your_key_here"
}
}
}
}Or install globally:
npm install -g @cloud-arch/mcp-serverThen use cloudarch-mcp as the command instead of npx.
Catalogs
The package ships a server.json for the
MCP Registry (server name
io.github.lamp-labs/cloudarch) and a smithery.yaml that describes a hosted
build for Smithery. Both point at this same npm package;
nothing changes at runtime.
3. Use
Ask Claude:
"Create an architecture diagram for a microservices e-commerce platform with API Gateway, Auth, Orders, Payments, PostgreSQL, Redis cache, and Kafka"
The MCP server will generate a topology script, save it via the CloudArch API, and return a live URL with an interactive animated diagram.
