Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Cloud Agent Fleet Worker — machine companion and operator CLI.

Requires Node.js 22.6+. Codeman should be installed and running on the machine (codeman web) when you want live sessions.

Install

npm install --global @cloudagentfleet/worker
cloudagentfleet --help

Or in a folder:

mkdir -p ~/cloudagentfleet-worker && cd ~/cloudagentfleet-worker
npm install @cloudagentfleet/worker
npx cloudagentfleet --help

Quick start

Same HOSTED_AGENTS_AUTH_TOKEN as the Hub is required (Hub UI auth rejects Worker enroll without it). Codeman should already be running (codeman web).

export HOSTED_AGENTS_AUTH_TOKEN="replace-with-a-long-shared-secret"
cloudagentfleet setup --run

Use the Hub’s reachable URL as Controller URL (not 127.0.0.1 if Hub is on another machine). Note the Worker ID printed/chosen during setup.

Enroll so the Hub UI shows an instance

The dashboard lists instances, not raw Workers. After the Worker is online:

Restart the Worker (cloudagentfleet worker stop / start, or re-run cloudagentfleet setup --run) so it uses CODEMAN_INSTANCE_ID=codeman-1.
