Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Package for create and handle hotkeys for React.JS

Install

npm install --save @code_of_power/react-hotkeys

Features

  • Ability to assign several keyboard shortcuts to one action.
  • Ability to use keyboard shortcuts only for a specific part of the user interface (Zone feature).
  • Declarate/Imperative approach. You can use component or inject instance of service for work with hotkeys.
  • Using React hooks.
  • Hotkeys can be mixed with mouse buttons and mouse events.
  • Helper component for form inputs for prevent bubbling events from inputs.

P.S:

  • Action of IHotkeyRegistry was be unique value
  • For correct work HotkeyZone component using tabIndex for child node.
  • Some hotkeys can't be handled even when using e.preventDefault(), because it reserved of browser. Be careful, see the documentation of the browser you are using.
