Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

VueForge Playground Core

A framework-agnostic runtime core for interactive playground sessions in the VueForge ecosystem.

Coordinated release: @codemonster-ru/[email protected].

Requirements

  • Node.js 18 or newer for installation and build tooling.
  • A browser iframe for the built-in browser runtime. Remote runtimes can provide their own executor.

Quick start

The package exposes one side-effect-free ESM entry and no CSS:

The browser runtime validates iframe messages and import resolution, and reports structured runtime errors. Importing the module is SSR-safe, but executing the browser runtime requires DOM APIs. Call dispose() when the host is removed.

TypeScript powers in-browser transpilation. Consumer bundlers therefore emit a compiler worker of about 1 MiB gzip, but browsers download it only when a .ts file or inline text/typescript script must be transpiled. Compilation runs in a dedicated Web Worker to keep compiler parsing and transpilation off the UI thread. JavaScript/HTML-only sessions keep using the lightweight browser runtime. The Vue Playground UI activates the runtime boundary only when a sandbox session is created.
