Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

GraphQL client contracts and transports for Comity.

Purpose

Defines the client-side GraphQL contracts, error model, transport abstractions, and module setup used to execute GraphQL operations. GraphqlClient is the canonical, transport-independent client facade; GraphqlTransport is the replaceable boundary.

Scope

This package:

  • ✅ defines GraphQL request, response, and transport contracts
  • ✅ provides the GraphqlClient facade and module setup
  • ✅ exposes package-scoped GraphQL error types

This package does NOT:

  • ❌ define query-building syntax
  • ❌ own a technology-bound transport implementation
  • ❌ embed application-specific GraphQL policy

Public API

  • GraphqlClient — canonical, transport-independent client facade (root)
  • GraphqlClientOptions — client construction options (root)
  • Request, response, and transport contracts
  • GraphQL error contract (@comity/graphql-client/errors)
  • Transport contracts (@comity/graphql-client/transports)
  • Module setup contracts (@comity/graphql-client/setup)

The client is a composition facade: it depends only on GraphqlTransport, GraphqlRequest, and GraphqlResponse. Technology-bound transport implementations (WebSocket, fetch, HTTP-specific) live in adapter packages; GraphqlTransport is the replaceable boundary.
