Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Validation contracts and structured failure errors.

Purpose

Defines the validation boundary for Comity. Owns the Validator contract that validation adapters implement and the error model used to report structured validation failures without binding the framework to a specific validation engine.

Scope

This package:

  • ✅ defines the Validator contract and ValidationResult type
  • ✅ defines structured validation errors with field-level failure details

This package does NOT:

  • ❌ provide validation rules or schema implementations
  • ❌ offer UI-specific or transport-specific validation behavior
  • ❌ depend on schema libraries or validation frameworks

Public API

  • Contracts — Validator and ValidationResult types
  • Error types (@comity/validation/errors)
