@companyio/payments

Universal settlement records for CompanyIO products. A payment is posted once, can be allocated to any host document, and is cancelled or refunded without deleting history.

The host owns PostgreSQL, Prisma Client, auth, and tenant resolution. Payments does not own customers, invoices, bills, or the chart of accounts.

payments init copies prisma/migrations/0001_payments_baseline when the host does not already have it (20260926000500_payments_baseline). It does not connect to PostgreSQL and it does not run migrate. Tenant columns are main_business_id and branch_id, with no Prisma relation back to Business or Branch.
