Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

OpenComputer provider for ComputeSDK - create persistent cloud VMs, run commands, read/write files, expose preview URLs, and manage checkpoints through the ComputeSDK interface.

Installation

npm install computesdk @computesdk/opencomputer

Setup

Create an OpenComputer API key and set:

Optionally override the API URL:

timeout uses ComputeSDK's millisecond convention and is converted to OpenComputer's seconds-based API.

Snapshots

OpenComputer checkpoints are scoped to a source sandbox. This provider returns snapshot IDs in the form sandboxId:checkpointId so ComputeSDK can later delete the checkpoint.

You can also pass a raw OpenComputer checkpoint ID to compute.sandbox.create({ snapshotId }) when you only need to fork from it.

Snapshots default to OpenComputer disk_only checkpoints with promoteToFull: true. Override with metadata: { kind: 'full' } or metadata: { promoteToFull: false } when needed.
