Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Six general-purpose Coral diagram tools over MCP stdio.

npm install @coral-viz/[email protected]

Run the published executable through a managed dependency or with:

npx --yes --package @coral-viz/[email protected] coral-mcp

The server exposes coral_generate, coral_validate, coral_convert, coral_layout, coral_render, and coral_explain. Documents are returned in content[].text; structured content is metadata. Tools use distinct validation and error envelopes, so clients must check isError as well as transport failures.

coral_render computes missing geometry and preserves complete supplied positions. The MCP option set is narrower than the language/render libraries, and the server defines no byte, node-count, or operation-time guarantee.
